Radhuni is a popular Bangladeshi brand, known for their pre-made spice mixes. Since Bengali cuisine isn‘t well-known amongst Western audiences, I wanted to give Radhuni a makeover to expand their target market. Through bright colours and bold illustrations, I aimed to capture the essence of Bengali culture and translate it onto their packaging. 

The photos of the dishes are framed in “plates” with patterns inspired by traditional Bengali ceramics and henna. I also incorporated illustrations of symbols commonly found in Bengali folk art: a tiger, a lotus flower, and a woman. My overall goal was to infuse as much culture as possible into my designs in a modern, fresh way.
